A Ministry where the Word changes lives!

Holiness Tabernacle Church of the Nazarene started its existence in 1996. Our first service was held at the Neighbourhood Christian Center located on Scott Street in Memphis Tennessee on June 23rd. After three months the church had about 15 members and moved to a storefront on Chelsea and Hollywood and later to a larger church facility in the Frayser community. The Lord begin to bless the ministry with families and lots of children in which case we soon outgrew that space and move to a 40 room educational building, fellowship hall, and a sanctuary that will seat 200 easily. God has been faithful to the ministry and many lives have been changed, transformed, renewed all to the glory of God.
Pastor McArthur Jackson and Elder Millie Jackson were ordained as Elders together on May 5th 2002. Together they continue to lead and nurture God's people with joy and passion.

In June 2022 Pastor DL Jackson was installed as Senior Pastor for Holiness Tabernacle Church of the Nazarene.

Pastor Darrell and Elect Lady Darlene Jackson have been married for over 31 years. They are parents to 3 sons and one daughter. They have faithfully served the Lord for over 29 years. Darrell was called into ministry 24 years ago and founded New Beginning Ministries. Through the guiding and direction of Holy Spirit, Darrell, Darlene, and their family has joined forces with Holiness Tabernacle Church of the Nazarene.

Marlon Carson

Minister Marlon and Elect Lady Tanishia Carson have been married for over fifteen blissful years with four amazing children. They both have been working and serving in the ministry for almost two decades. Minister Marlon is an co-author of How To Answer A Fool and a business owner of JOS (Jesus Our Savior) clothing designs & a passionate Teacher of Christ Our Savior. His Lovely Wife is an Cosmetology Instructor and a Salon Owner which she is the Master Stylist & a Dynamic Leader amongst women. They both enjoy working and serving in the ministry together.
Marquinn Carson

Marquinn Carson is a minister and Sunday school teacher of Holiness Tabernacle Outreach he has served and work in the ministry for over two decades with a passion to see people lives change for the glory of God. Minister Marquinn is married to his lovely wife Mary for over 14 years they have been bless with four beautiful daughters. He also co-author a great book, How To Answer A Fool.
Sidney Shields

Pastor Sidney Shields has been preaching 27 years. Pastor Shields came to us as a former member of First Baptist Broad. He has a special calling dealing with the youth. He is a very anointed preacher and God has allowed him to join our growing ministry along with his loving wife Tabitha Shields. Tabitha is already an inspiration to the church and hit the ground running. The two of them are a true blessing and asset to Holiness Tabernacle.
